Reviews and Ratings
I had a really big room on the 8th floor with a great view looking across to South Bank. The room was from another age, but it had A/C and a few pay TV channels, which was a nice bonus. The hotel's location couldn't be more central for the mall and Southbank, and it was close to the Casino and inner city train stations. The dining impressed me with the selection of breakfast available, but it was way too expensive. The only downer was that the area around the hotel is old and dirty with not much of an appealing hangout spot, but it made up for it by being conveniently located off the reception entrance.
The hotel had a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms, although a bit dated, were tidy, clean, and comfortable, perfect for our family. However, there were cleanliness issues with fluff from the air con unit and a large cockroach in the bathroom. The service was friendly and helpful, with pleasant staff overall. The central location was excellent, though facing a construction site was a downside. The dining experience was good value for money, and the facilities needed some maintenance.
My stay at the hotel was satisfactory, but there were some drawbacks. The rooms served basic needs for a business trip, although they were a bit old school and dark with a small shower. Unfortunately, the check-in process was delayed, and the room had a wet floor that caused a strange smell as it dried.
The hotel had some drawbacks like dark and outdated rooms, small parking spaces, and some cleanliness issues, but it was conveniently located in the heart of Brisbane with easy access to attractions. The service was a mix of rudeness and friendliness. The dining offered a variety of options with decent value for money.
The hotel definitely needs a massive makeover as it looked nothing like the pictures online. The rooms were not well cleaned, with used towels left laying around, and the guest laundry was disgustingly dirty. The bathroom felt cramped, the bed sheets were short, and there were not enough toiletries for two people. On the upside, the staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, making the stay more pleasant. The location was convenient for walking to attractions like Southbank, but the overall cleanliness and room conditions were disappointing.
The hotel provides good value for money with its affordable rates, but the rooms are in desperate need of an upgrade, though they do offer a good experience for the price. The service was friendly overall, but there were communication issues. The location is convenient, near the city center, shops, restaurants, and public transport, yet lacks renovation. The dining options were average in variety and slightly overpriced. Overall, it's a budget-friendly choice with some drawbacks.
The hotel offers clean and great value rooms with a comfy bed, excellent shower pressure, and hot water, featuring a spacious layout with a small lounge area. The lovely and helpful service ensures a pleasant stay, though some minor issues with dining quality may occur. Its location near the river stage and city center is ideal for shopping and tours.
